I don’t like to do this, but my day job hours have been short the past few weeks and money’s become very tight. I’m setting a small goal of $250usd for the next couple weeks(which will be 7/7/23 as of posting this) until things change with my day job. While the commission offer still stands, smaller donations help too. Thank you for your understanding!

My Ko-fi for donations/commissions

Map: States where you can get birth control from a pharmacist

Arizona last week became the latest in a growing group of states that allow people to get birth control from a pharmacist without a doctor’s prescription.

Since 2016, 29 states and Washington, D.C., have passed laws allowing pharmacists to prescribe hormonal contraception such as birth control pills and patches. Arizona’s new policy, announced Thursday, applies to people 18 years and older and comes on the heels of similar legislation that Rhode Island Gov. Dan McKee, a Democrat, signed into law last month.

WGA's asking people interested in all the tree law fun to also sign this petition about a god damned bitch of an unsatisfactory situation on another street on the Same FUCKING lot. NBC Universal (whose CEO is Mike Cavanagh just btw in case Ron Pearlman is listening) has started a construction project that completely removed the sidewalks from five different gates, in two cases forcing pedestrians to literally walk into oncoming traffic. In addition to being an ADA violation, it's just flat out despicably evil of them and WGA's asking for public support on this issue.

Can you link where you saw the WGA asking people to sign this?

Fair question! Sure thing! Legit great instinct to make sure! Here's the tweet I got it from:

Tweet from Writers Guild of America West @WGAWest, it reads "Say...while you're here, sign the petition being ciruclated by WGA members picketing at @NBCUniversal" followed by a link to the same petition linked above, as well as the hashtag "WGA Strike"ALT

It's both described and linked so that you can be sure it's the real deal, and if you click through you can see it's in response to Kenneth Mejia's tweet about investigating Universal for the Tree Law stuff, hence the specific connection I cite at the start of the post

This is happening fast. Cats generally only survive 24 hours from symptom-onset.

Symptoms are hyperglycemia, stupor, limb stiffness, difficulty breathing, pupils with different widths, unresponsive pupils, seizures, and hypoalkemia.

It's unknown how many of the deaths ARE bird-flu but please be vigilant. So far it seems restricted to Poland.

Here's is another article; it was originally in Polish but google translate has provided a rough translation into English.

just to be extremely clear for anyone confused: it appears bird flu has jumped species to cats. cats are eating birds, getting bird flu, and dying. viruses do not go back in the box once this has happened. all outdoor cats eat birds, even if you do not see them do it. keep your cats inside or provide outdoor time with direct supervision/secure enclosure only.

your cat can also contract bird flu outdoors and then bring it into your house and give it to you. this is not only possible but likely to start happening if it hasn't already
